A SPACE TO HEAL
In 2020 the Village of Hope Hospital opened its doors to begin providing service in Musembe. The expanded facility is meeting a huge need and provides room for Hope Matters to provide quality care for physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those living in their community in Jesus’ name. Our maternity department is a safe place for women to bring their babies into the world. Instead of spending energy rushing patients to a hospital over an hour away, or developing creative solutions for overnight or long-term care, we are able to focus our attention on providing effective and lifesaving quality care. The hospital allows us to open our doors wider to the local community. Greater capacity to treat and serve more people means greater opportunities to minister and share the Gospel of Christ. The hospital offers basic inpatient, outpatient, walk-in urgent care, laboratory, pharmacy, ultrasound, well-child, maternity, dental, physiotherapy, social work, and chaplaincy services.
